TAMPA, Fla. – 2 May 2008 – As part of the eighth annual Environmental Financial Consulting Group (EFCG) CFO Conference, Artie Hughes of Wilbur Smith Associates presented a session on improving business processes during a BST Global sponsored workshop. The annual invitation-only EFCG CFO Conference was held 9-11 April in New York and was attended by more than 100 of the most influential CFOs from engineering and consulting firms throughout the world.

Hughes’ presentation, Reengineering the Billing & Revenue Recognition Process, chronicled how Wilbur Smith Associates, a full-service transportation and infrastructure consulting firm with over 50 offices globally, has automated its billing process by leveraging new technology and modifying key business processes. Hughes discussed the challenges and strategies behind the changes and the benefits that Wilbur Smith Associates has realized as a result of improved operational efficiency.
